Growing up amongst the fells and lakes of the Lake District gave me a passion for cycling, exploring and the outdoors from an early age.

I grew up in rural Shropshire, and from an early age I would spend long summer days careering around the local lanes on my bike.

Living next to the West Pennine Moors I can enjoy cycling, hiking, trail running and kayaking with my wife and daughter.

My summers growing up were spent cycling around the beautiful Lake Balaton in Hungary, before travelling the rest of the world.

I have always been an outdoors person, running and competing in trail marathons being one of my favourite activities along with biking.

Born into a family of cyclists, cycling was always on the cards as a child. Growing up in a Scottish village, it was my ticket to freedom.

I started out in travel over 15 years ago. As an outdoor enthusiast, it was an easy decision to join Cycling for Softies.

I’ve always loved cycling, ever since I was a child. There’s something so freeing about exploring by bike!

Cycling is my favourite way to discover a new destination, especially on a city break.

I’ve always enjoyed pootling around on a bike from a young age, especially when living in Australia and New Zealand.

I love being in the great outdoors and feel very lucky to be able to combine my career with my passion.

If I could ride a bike all day, everyday, I would! It’s the reason why I turned a corner and stopped at Cycling for Softies.
