Cycling has always been a passion, and in my opinion, the most fabulous vehicle to explore new places from an unbeatable vantage point. In recent years, I’ve been able to combine time in the saddle with my insatiable curiosity for travel, mixing up a love of wine, gastronomy, and luxury hotels along the way.

I haven’t always cycled this leisurely, mind you. My most memorable cycling came in my late teens when I came up with the idea of travelling around Iceland on a bike for a month. A proper adventure with four mates, 1000+ km, mainly off-road crossing the wilderness interior of the country without any of the trappings of modern-day technology. We called it the ‘Search for Santa’ expedition (why, I’ve no idea, we all know he’s in Lapland). These days, I’m far more likely to be found on our fabulous Tuscany tour, in ‘search for Sassicaia!’
