Born into a family of cyclists, cycling was always on the cards as a child. Growing up in a Scottish village, it was my ticket to freedom. After moving to London to work in the adventure travel industry, I continued to cycle as a way of getting around town. It wasn’t until a work trip around 10 years ago to Provence that I got the road cycling bug.

“I love the freedom that a bike offers and the ability to get off the beaten track. A bike allows us to truly discover an area as you experience all the sights, sounds and smells at a slower pace.”

In recent years I’ve enjoyed backpacking across the world. Highlights have included cycling the length of Spain, crossing the Indian Himalayas, and the west coast of North America from Vancouver to San Francisco.
